Door Reinforcement Set for Security and Protection (Black)

This Door Jamb Reinforcement Set is designed to easily secure weak spots in your entry door frame. Wood frames are known to be weak and can easily be damaged with force, making them vulnerable to forced entry. Our solution includes a 46" long steel plate, sturdier latch plates (2 pieces), and L-shaped hinge plates (2 pieces) to strengthen these weak points.

The 46" extended door strike plate reinforcement plate provides extra strength to your door plate, as it is more than two times longer than a regular door strike plate. This increased length enhances resistance to forced entry. With 3" stronger fixing force due to longer screws, this set helps prevent forced entry effectively.

Constructed of 0.08" (2mm) thick steel and powder-coated in white or black, this Door Reinforcement Set is durable and strong. The edge passivation treatment ensures that sharp cutting burrs are removed for safety.

The 46" long steel plate reinforces the jamb area and protects the weak wood frame. It features 8 door latch hole designs to accommodate door latch pins of different heights. Additionally, knockout holes are included to fit doors with locks that are between 4.5" and 21.5" apart (center-to-center), with standard door locks being 5.5" apart.

The sturdier latch plates prevent the deadbolt from being pushed into the wood frame during a kick-in, while the L-shaped hinge plates strengthen the opposite side of the door's hardware. This added reinforcement prevents intruders from kicking in the hinges, ensuring enhanced security without the need to remove the door from its hinges during installation.
